  1. Speaking of Chase and where this win might lead? One of my first thoughts was “Passing of the Torch”. If I recall right, they said after Dale Sr. won his 1st Championship, Richard Petty never won another one. Jeff Gordon got his first and Dale never won another. And you know who came along next. Jeff never could get that 5th (that I was hoping he would get before JJ got his) Championship, after Jimmie started on his roll. I don’t know why that come to my mind but it did when Chase was standing on the track during his Victory Lap interview.

    Oh, and I’m going to say the poll will be over 94%. We’ve been waiting on this win for three , that’s 3 years now.
