Jim Peltz from the Los Angeles Times joins me to help break down everything that happened at Sunday’s Auto Club 400 in Fontana, including thoughts on what would have happened if Kevin Harvick hadn’t crashed and whether the race has lost some buzz.
Just have to say…… I thought it was a good race. The build-up of “what can Harvick do” was eliminated in the beginning…. but there is more to a race than one expectation…. more than satisfying the hype… more …. just so much more. Only one car (#6) did not finish the race. No plethora of cautions…. Rookie Wallace finished 20th…. and for those who watch on TV it seems more commercials are shown on only a portion of the screen allowing continued viewing of the race.
I really enjoy these Jeff. I love how you’re able to find different personalities each week, some I’ve never heard of.
Oh and just so you know, yours is the “only” podcast’s I listen to each week, not even Dale Jr.’s.
