Post-Daytona Podcast with Jordan Bianchi

Jordan Bianchi from SBNation.com returns for his fifth appearance on the podcast to help me break down Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s win at Daytona International Speedway and discuss the wreckfest that was the Coke Zero 400.

  1. They were a lot of cars knocked out last nite but i believe the best car won .Stenthouse put himself in a bad situation and was losing ground and was shuffled back. But he had a very fast Ford that on the bottom he pulled up to the lead and held everyone off for the win. Bayne had a fast Roush Ford also but ended up in a wreck that put a end to any chance for a win I am very glad to see a Roush Ford in Victory lane, it brings back some good memories when the Roushcateers were a force to reckon with.

  2. The cohost is fantastic. Hopefully he can get on more often.

Daytona was kinda frustrating because of the cautions. There was inconsistency when Kasey spun compared to when Dale hit the wall. Jeff, is there any reason NASCAR let the latter stay green and Kasey drew a yellow? Stuff like this is frustrating.

  3. Of course I’m a huge Dale Jr. fan (see my avi) and am holding on to the dream but I have to disagree with you Jeff, Jordan. You said it in the podcast, Tony came out of nowhere and so did Ricky. Stenhouse has been nowhere since coming to Cup in 2013 until this year. Sooo not gonna stop believing until the ????falls at Richmond #NeverGiveUp
